Smart Dispenser
The ELiMS Smart Dispenser works very much like a vending machine and allows library customers to conveniently borrow books and multi-media materials even out of the library's opening hours.
The loan process is as easy as :
Customers can browse and select from the contents of the dispenser or pick up items they have previously reserved on-line.
The kiosk will automatically dispense the selected item. A receipt of the loan items will also be printed for the customer.
The ELiMS Smart Dispenser is able to store between 60 and 100 library items per module (dependent on item size), and a maximum of 4 modules may be used per dispenser.
The co-location of ELiMS Smart Dispenser and an ELiMS Book Drop allows customers to borrow and return materials anytime, anywhere, and provides customers with a truly mobile 24x7 library experience.
